Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write “clean”, well-designed code
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with PHP and Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc). Candidate Must be expert with API
  • Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas1
  • Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Proficiency with MySQL databases
  • Strong knowledge of custom Wordpress development, including theme, plugin, and widget development, as well as Admin UI customizations
  • Understanding of WordPress filters, hooks, queries, custom post types, custom fields, taxonomies and page templates
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Education:

  • BA/BS degree or higher, preferably in CS or a related field and applicable experience
