Job Description

Our client is a leading healthcare Professional network providing insight-driven, integrated multi-channel message delivery to healthcare companies. The client is dedicated to enhancing engagement with healthcare practitioners and optimizing commercial investments for its clients by providing strategic flexibility, full product commercialization services, and innovative multi-channel promotional solutions. The client has a proprietary social network of 400K physicians and other healthcare practitioners. The candidate is expected to have prior social network experience, understand how to drive engagement, what metrics to track and key revenue drivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of the core growth strategy for their Social Network including community engagement strategies and analytics
  • Provide insights into the best strategies and execute tactics to achieve business objectives through the Social Network and social engagement
  • Lead ideation of engagement opportunities and marketing campaigns through competitive analysis, social media monitoring and secondary research
  • Drive an “always-on” social strategy, guiding audience management and outreach activities to ensure maximum engagement from physician audiences
  • Set KPI’s for the Social Network to track the success of the platform engagement and hold the team accountable for achieving optimal engagement
  • Lead the content, tech, analytics and UX to grow The Social Network community
  • Develop and execute on strategy related to B2B community offerings
  • Lead awareness of new social media platforms and techniques, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop new techniques
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships and partnerships to grow social reach, engagement and conversion
  • Interpret social media analytics to optimize campaigns and provide clear recommendations on how to further grown community engagement

Social Network Consultant Requirements:

  • 6-8 years’ experience in related fields (social media, technology, marketing, advertising, media)
  • Proven experience in analytics, and social engagement metrics with a sound understanding of healthcare, physicians, social networks, strategic planning, brand engagement and B2C/B2B marketing is required.
  • Proven experience creating and implementing social media/real-time marketing campaigns, as well as overseeing day-to-day community management
  • Understanding of engagement strategies in digital and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Tumblr, Vine, Reddit, Pinterest,) as well as smaller emerging platforms
  • Understanding of paid social media planning, including available buy tactics, targeting and budgets

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferably prior experience “big 4” or other management consulting company
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience working with mobile a plus
  • Expertise in software platforms is also very desirable
