Job Description

Ideally, candidates will have financial industry experience Risk Domain Preferred, Regulatory Reporting domains. Candidates must also be very collaborative and able to work in a team atmosphere. Candidates should be able to ask for, and provide, critical feedback when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

The project manager will be responsible for day-to-day project management responsibilities. The candidate will be required to:

  • Coordinate the activities of the IT, Clients, Vendor, and project team members
  • Manage identification, management and resolution of project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, presentations and status reports for management
  • Build, own and maintain detailed project plan and all project artifacts
  • Assess and continually monitor project progress and financial performance
  • Present weekly / monthly communications regarding project schedule and financials
  • Enforce a strict project management discipline to insure a structured and effective implementation
  • Ensure compliance with Client project methodology guidelines
  • Coordinate generation and collection of project artifacts
  • Maintain team collaboration and documentation site documents for the end users

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

  • A strong experienced Project Manager with hands on project management experience (5-6 years), with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates must be extremely strong with MS Project – experience building out detailed project schedules with detailed task level plans.
  • Candidates must have experience managing projects within Waterfall / Agile methodologies.
  • Candidates must be able work independently and have great conflict resolution experience.Outstanding communication, customer service, and negotiation skills are required
