The Program Manager will organize and coordinate the strategic and technical aspects of projects related to finance applications and the overall finance business line. They will coordinate a team of technical and business resources to ensure projects are completed on time and are delivered in support of business objectives. We are looking for a leader, who can plan the overall program activities and can communicate effectively at all levels. While it is a part of the IT team, this is a business-facing role. Responsibilities include working with the Finance team at Wintrust Corporate to identify priorities and then coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
Key Accountability Items
Manage relationships with key business stakeholders and ensure excellent communication between Business and Technical teams
Work with the Business and Technical teams to define, test and implement business solutions
Coordinate project delivery, including estimation, planning, scheduling, scope management, developing the business case, communications, etc.
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected and cross-functional projects, define and execute on delivery and implementation plans
Work with business leaders to understand business line objectives and help identify and evaluate initiatives that support the strategic direction of the organization
Work with internal operations teams to ensure effective and efficient program delivery
Other duties as assigned including but not limited to creating and delivering executive reporting and dashboards, and monitoring program change, risks, budget, and performance.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science
7+ years of related experience
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods preferably within a banking or financial services organization
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
