You’ll be based in New Jersey, New York or Chicago and work with our Periscope by McKinsey team as a Solution Manager within Marketing Solutions to help us grow the firm’s capacity to deliver client impact through preeminent, scalable assets, tools, capabilities, and/or service lines.

You will oversee key activities related to the development and delivery of the Marketing Solutions product in the space of marketing performance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of our own solutions as well as driving business development opportunities and managing the P&L for the solutions. Furthermore, you should help to identify new marketing technology players in Marketing Performance and as well as manage partnerships with them. You will also help deploy our own and partner solutions in close collaboration with our client service teams.

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing & Sales Practice leadership (acting as a Solution Board) to advance the strategic aims of the Solutions and will provide leadership and management to the Marketing Solution’s team to ensure effective and efficient delivery. You will be responsible for designing, developing and operationalizing the strategy to enable scalability and expansion across geographies, industries and functions. 

Furthermore, as a Solution Manager, you will be responsible for educating and evangelizing Marketing Solution’s offerings principally through Client Service Teams to increase demand and grow the business. You will also help drive and support direct go-to-market business development efforts and help develop Marketing Solution’s ecosystem as the Solution evolves. You will review activities at clients to identify opportunities and over time you will take on responsibility for direct client development. 

You will be instrumental in creating the vision for the next generation of Marketing Solutions. You will also identify market opportunities, build business cases, and define the product vision and strategy (defining roadmap, product positioning and pricing model). You will work with Practice leaders to understand the market demands to ensure the product direction and strategy meets global needs. You will also contribute to service delivery strategy and infrastructure development. 

  • Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record; MBA a plus
  • 8-10 years of experience with 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Ability to travel 40-60 % globally
  • Ability to launch and manage digital products/solutions
  • Understand how to understand and prioritize product features (size and scope)
  • Ability write product requirements and marketing materials
  • Technical knowledge to help development and architecture
  • General understanding of marketing planning, decision making, and processes/operating model
  • Understanding of customer needs based on experience in broad marketing
  • Good understanding of the digital marketing channels and the key trends in digital marketing, including analytics, measurement, and attribution
  • Good understanding of the marketing technology stack and standard tools
  • Good Understanding of the competitive landscape and key players in Digital Marketing and MarTech
  • Experience in working with/managing external partners
  • Significant experience using one or more key digital marketing channels and tools to drive traffic and user acquisition: Search, Paid Social, and/or Programmatic
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills to ensure ability to work directly with clients
