You'll join us in our Chicago office as part of Cube Tech, McKinsey Digital practice's solution technology team. You'll build and shape tech solutions for our McKinsey clients to help solve the world's toughest functional and industry challenges. You'll collaborate with inspiring designers, project managers, and design technologists to tackle all aspects of the design process. Moving from insights to ideas, you will solve complex problems and deliver inventive, technically feasible, and thoughtful solutions from concept to launch.

You'll leverage your expertise in human-centered design and systems thinking to create powerful digital experiences.
In this role you'll utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria. You'll apply user centered design methodologies to ensure your ideas are based on user needs. You'll prepare and execute user research to investigate those needs. Additionally, you'll effectively synthesize and communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
You'll use a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc.) and you'll use your narration and storytelling skills to bring product ideas to life. You'll be expected to perform task analysis and define the User Interface Design through sketches, flows, user stories, and prototypes (both paper and digital) with strong foundational knowledge in information architecture.
You'll validate your designs through usability testing, consolidate findings and iteratively integrate into design solutions. You'll lead workshops and concept sprints to inject design thinking tools and methodologies to produce tangible results in a rapid and iterative way. You'll work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented, and lead communication of the product’s vision.
